About the role

As a Station Host, you will work at the train station, responsible for informing and assisting travelers. The work is divided into two shifts per day, each lasting 3 hours. You book the shifts that suit you, and there is an opportunity to work both shifts during the day if interested.

Working hours are as follows: Weekdays and weekends 06:00-09:00 & 15:00-18:00

Responsibilities

This role is about being a central point for service and support, where you actively contribute to a positive and efficient environment for visitors and colleagues.

  • Welcome and guide travelers
  • Inform about traffic disruptions and other events affecting travelers. Work proactively by offering assistance to travelers
  • Ensure a safe environment through good communication with travelers
  • Assist with practical arrangements

We are looking for someone who

  • Has another main occupation of at least 50%, e.g., studies or other work for at least the next 1 year
  • Has previous experience in customer service-oriented work
  • Speaks fluent Swedish as you will be answering questions from travelers
  • Is available to work at least 3 shifts per week
  • Has a smartphone that you can use in the role, as part of the work is done via a mobile application

Other information

  • Start: Immediately
  • Scope: Part-time, number of hours varies depending on how many shifts you choose to book, but we expect you to be available for at least 3 shifts/week

To succeed in the role, you have the following personal qualities: We are looking for someone who is social and service-oriented. You are not afraid to initiate contact with travelers and know how to deliver world-class service. Furthermore, you are flexible, responsible, and have the ability to see when travelers need help and take the initiative to solve problems.
